Opportunities

This consortium is designed to support interdisciplinary work within projects while also engaging the broader community of scholars investigating the themes that characterize it.

With a focus on increasing conceptual and scientific rigor, opportunities hosted by the consortium are open to all CASP members and will include avenues for collaboration, professional development, writing fellowships, manuscript reviews, publicity videos and more.

Writing Residencies
Type: Writing residencies

CASP offers semester-in-residence fellowships (approximately four months in length) for researchers to take at the institutional location of their choice. These fellowships are to provide time to work on a book in the Foundations for Interdisciplinarity in the Life Sciences: Concise Monographs (FILSCM) series

Researchers must submit, and receive acceptance of, a book proposal to take part in this program. However, researchers may apply at any time in order to indicate interest in this opportunity. Since the PI of CASP is the editor-in-chief of the book series, knowledge of submitted proposals is coordinated with a representative from the publisher and therefore acceptance can be formally confirmed.
