This consortium is designed to support interdisciplinary work within projects while also engaging the broader community of scholars investigating the themes that characterize it.
With a focus on increasing conceptual and scientific rigor, opportunities hosted by the consortium are open to all CASP members and will include avenues for collaboration, professional development, writing fellowships, manuscript reviews, publicity videos and more.
These workshops are meant to stimulate interactions around a topic or theme that is current and particularly deserving of attention by researchers. Although there will be requests for proposals put out for these workshops at various times throughout the lifetime of the grant, members may always propose a workshop at any time using this form.
After a proposal to lead one of these workshops is accepted, the CASP core team provides the organizational and financial support. CASP team members will work collaboratively with the workshop proposer(s) to set the agenda and format of the workshop in order to help achieve the four CASP-related research and engagement goals.
